Getin was founded in 2007 by architect Joana Conceição, continuing the legacy of Getecno, a company established in 1969. Later, Teresa Amorim joined the studio, strengthening the interior design department and the integrated vision that defines our work today.
At Getin, we believe that spaces have a profound impact on the way we live, work and feel. For this reason, we design each project around people and the experience a space should provide. Well-being, functionality and identity are the guiding principles behind every design decision we make.

We develop architecture and interior design projects for residential, hospitality, healthcare, spa, office, retail and other commercial spaces, supporting every stage of the process with rigour and attention to detail. JOANA CONCEIÇÃO
ARCHITECTURE & INTERIOR DESIGN
Born in Lisbon with roots in Trás-os-Montes and a strong connection to the Azores, Joana, founder of Getin (2007), is an architect with a background in interior design and a postgraduate degree in bioclimatic architecture.
Since then, she has led the studio’s growth, shaping an approach that reflects both personal and professional evolution.
Her work is defined by strategic thinking, aesthetic sensitivity and a rigorous attention to detail.
Each project is developed with a focus on authenticity, well-being and the creation of meaningful environments, ensuring coherence and high standards throughout all phases of the process.

TERESA AMORIM
INTERIOR DESIGN
With over 20 years of experience in aviation, Teresa developed a strong ability to understand people’s needs, combined with a precise attention to detail and customer experience — skills shaped by exposure to different cultures.
Her transition into interior design comes from a long-standing interest in spatial design, which led her to formal training and a new professional path.
Her work reflects a sensitive and balanced approach, where functionality, comfort and atmosphere come together naturally.
Inspired by nature and traditional Portuguese architecture, she creates warm and welcoming spaces designed for real use and well-being.
At Getin, she applies this experience to projects that combine function, comfort and identity, helping create spaces where people feel they belong.
